Hand Construction was engaged for the pre-construction and construction phases of this ambulatory surgery center located in Bossier City, La. During the preconstruction phase, Hand Construction worked in collaboration with the design team and the owner to value engineer the project, so it was congruent with the Owners’ needs and budget. Through the value engineering process, Hand Construction was able to eliminate substantial cost from the project without decreasing the center’s functionality or attractiveness. The project was completed on budget and in time with the end product consisting of a state-of-the-art surgery center.
